The drug overdose epidemic is killing our sons and daughters, teachers and firefighters, friends and neighbors, in every county in every state in the country. This killer does not discriminate. Addiction doesn’t care about your age or gender or race or nationality or religion or income level.
An opiate epidemic has taken the lives of Americans from all walks of life. Stopping these deaths should be President Donald Trump’s No. 1 priority. He needs to take action to protect Americans. I urge him to increase time, attention and resources on ridding our nation from the terror of addiction. The threat is not imminent, it is already here.
